Sarah Lonsert began her singing career as a form of therapy for her High-functioning Autism. Growing up in Musical Theatre, she discovered an additional love for classical music after accidentally enrolling in a Music101 class at her community college. Throughout her career she has won many awards but some of her personal highlights are; recording with John Williams and Steven Spielberg and being a part of the Grammy Awarding Winning Choir on Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic's recording of Mahler's Symphony No. 8 for “Best Chorale performance” in 2022. She has sung with Andrea Bocelli, The L.A. Symphony, and John Williams to name a few. Notable overseas performances include; Rome, Paris, Germany, The Glinka Cappella in Russia, and The Rock Church in Estonia. Sarah’s scholastic achievements are graduating from California State University Fullerton with her BM in Vocal Performance and achieving her Master’s in Music at California State University Northridge. Some of Sarah's personal favorite performances include; Rose Maurrant in Street Scene, Fire in L'enfant et les sortilèges, Lois Warner in Breaking Up in Hard to Do, and the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat. Equally at home in classical, musical theatre and pop genres, Sarah is passionate in being authentic in all genres of music, crossover music, and sharing music is for everyone, no matter the genre. Sarah continues to study classical and musical theatre voice under Diane Ketchie. She currently performs in the LA Master Chorale under Maestro Grant Gershon, Pacific Chorale under Dr. Robert Istad, Long Beach Camerata Singers under Dr. James K. Bass, and is proud to be included with the amazing musicians at Voices of Terpsichor.
