Samuel Avila

Samuel Avila is a vocalist, conductor, session singer, and educator born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Samuel received his Bachelor of Music at the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music. Currently, Samuel is a contracted vocalist for several professional ensembles across LA, including the Long Beach Camerata Singers, San Gabriel Valley Choral Company, and most notably, Tonality — a Grammy-award winning ensemble that focuses on uplifting underrepresented voices and social issues utilizing Choral Music to incite change, understanding, and dialogue. Samuel has also performed with some of the most influential voices within the choral and popular music industries, such as The Eagles, Tiesto, VOCES8, SAJE, and Scott Hoying of Pentatonix. Finally, Samuel was proud to make their opera debut in the world premiere performance of “Sally Ride” written by Dana Kaufman.
When he is not performing, Samuel is a music educator and conductor for several charter schools and youth choral organizations such as The National Children’s Chorus, San Fernando Valley Youth Chorus, and The New Academy in Canoga Park, and Compton High School.
