Sam A Capella

Samuel Aaron Capella is a native of Southern California. He was born in Los Angeles, raised in the Inland Empire, and moved to Long Beach in 2007 to fully commit to a life and study of music where he studied voice with Tim MacDougall at CSU Long Beach.

Samuel has performed with numerous choral ensembles in Los Angeles and Orange County in his career, most notably Pacifc Chorale, Long Beach Camerata Singers, Tonality, and Los Angeles Master Chorale. Samuel sang on Grammy-winning albums three years in a row. Two were with the LA Philharmonic, and the most recent was for singing on the soundtrack to Encanto which won in 2023.

In addition to being a chorister and soloist, Samuel also works as a vocal coach for a few Southern California high schools. In 2024, Sam launched his newest project, a YouTube channel.  You can find him on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube @samacapella
