Lauryn Jessup

Lauryn Jessup is an emerging Soprano based in Los Angeles, California. She most recently appeared in Lyric Opera of Orange County’s (LOOC) double feature of Menotti’s The Old Maid & the Thief and The Medium as Laeticia and Mrs. Gobineau. She also appeared with LOOC in their summer production as the Title Role in Offenbach’s Bagatelle. Previous highlights include Norina in Donizetti’s Don Pasquale (Opera Italia), Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro as Contessa Almaviva (CSU Long Beach), and Anna Gomez in Menotti’s The Consul (Angels Vocal Art). Lauryn will be making her debut as Mimi in Puccini’s La bohème this upcoming May (Opera Italia). Lauryn holds a Bachelor’s of Music in Opera Performance from California State University, Long Beach and is also a member of the Verdi Chorus.
