Jake Roman

Jake Roman is a scholar, performer, and composer based in Long Beach, California. Jake has performed with So-Cal choral ensembles such as the Long Beach Camerata Singers, the San Gabriel Valley Choral Company, the Coleridge-Taylor Singers, C3LA, and the NEO Festival Chorus.

Jake earned his B.M. in Music Composition at Long Beach State University in 2022 and is currently writing his masters thesis on the audio production of Stephen Sondheim’s musicals. His scholarship includes research on Sufi music, film music, and the history of recording technologies. Jake works as a lead audio visual event technician at Montage Laguna Beach, a five-star luxury resort and spa.
