Bobby Laumea

Tenor 2

Bobby Laumea has been passionate about music for as long as he can remember. Growing up, he sang in church children’s choirs and worship teams, which sparked a lifelong love of singing. He spent five years at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California, where he was deeply involved in the music program and performed with all the university's major ensembles. During this time, Bobby traveled extensively, sharing sacred and concert choir music in China, across seven European countries, and throughout the United States. He also explored his love of harmony by singing in a barbershop quartet. In addition to singing, Bobby plays the piano and enjoys performing music of all genres, finding joy and meaning in the diversity of musical expression. In 2024, he sang with the OC Gay Men’s Chorus. Bobby joined Terpsichor to reconnect with the musical community and to share the power of music locally and abroad. He believes music is the ultimate universal language, with the ability to transcend barriers and bring people together.
