Sean Fitzpatrick
Baritone
Sean Fitzpatrick is an accomplished freelance studio singer (SAG-AFTRA), drummer, and educator with over 15 years of experience across diverse genres, specializing in jazz and choral singing, vocal pedagogy, and jazz drums. He holds a bachelor’s in vocal performance from the Bob Cole Conservatory at CSU Long Beach and a master’s in jazz studies from CalArts.
Sean's session singing career includes film, television, and media projects. He has sung with Pacific Chorale, Los Angeles Bach Festival Chorus, and various contemporary a cappella groups. Additionally, he served as bass section leader for over a decade at churches including First Congregational Church of Los Angeles and St. Luke’s Episcopal in Long Beach. He regularly performs with jazz groups including Just Friends Duo and Emily & Friends.
As Director of Vocal Jazz and Vocal Music programs at Citrus College, Sean has cultivated a thriving community of aspiring vocal artists, providing guidance and mentorship to vocal performance, jazz voice, and music education majors. He is the founding director of Speakeasy vocal jazz ensemble and Treble Chorus. Sean previously held faculty positions at CSULB, Fullerton College, Long Beach City College, and Musicians Institute, and he regularly shares his expertise as a clinician at collegiate vocal jazz festivals.
