Sarah Finley

Soprano

Soprano Sarah Finley has been singing with ensembles throughout California for over 2 decades. She earned her degree in Music at UC Berkeley, focusing her studies on Early and Baroque vocal performance practices. 

 

Sarah currently sings with the St. Andrew Cappella Musica as well as the Pasadena Chorale, and over her career has sung with the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, Pacific Collegium, UC Berkeley Chamber Chorus, among others. In the studio, Sarah has sung commercial jingles, television theme songs, and more. You can hear Sarah on the recently released album Brillo, Brillo by the multi-GRAMMY winning group Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band. 

 

Featured soprano solo performances include Mozart’s Requiem, Bach’s St. John’s Passion, Couperin’s Quatre Versets d’un Motet, Monteverdi’s Vespers, Heinrich Schütz’s Musikalische Exequien among many others. Operatic roles include Don Giovanni (Zerlina), Ballad of Baby Doe (Baby Doe) and Die Zauberflöte (Queen of the Night). 

 

She has studied with Reid Bruton, Karen Clark, and Myron MacPherson.
