Hello my name is Ricardo Martinez, I am so grateful to be able to fulfil administrative functions with Terpsichor! My music administrative work at my church job has really been instrumental in my development of this skill, and even though my heart is in performing it is with gratitude that I take on the work of organizing for the musical events at the church, as it is not easy or frankly possible to build world class programs without the administrative role. Working alongside the artistic director and learning the different aspects of the job have really helped to shape my abilities in the multidisciplinary field of music administration. Practicing this craft in the worship arena has me fulfilling multiple functions to ensure that things run smoothly and musicians are content with the environment to provide their best artistic output. As a music admin I help with talent acquisition, coordination between independent contractors and the artistic director as well as take on librarian tasks such as music preparation / distribution as well as invoice template creation, consolidation etc…
