Ian Gabriel Luna, a Los Angeles native who is a Vocal Performance Major attended Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University Long Beach (CSULB) receiving a number of accolades and awards which includes being a member of the award winning vocal jazz ensemble “Pacific Standard Time” and the “Bob Cole Chamber Choir”.
He is an alumni of “The Los Angeles Children's Chorus and and the Young Men's Ensemble” who has toured nationally and internationally; The Long Beach Camerata Singers who performed in the world premier of “Triptych: A World Without End” in New York’s Carnegie Hall; Artes Vocales of Los Angeles (AVoLA) performing as “Peter” in St. Matthews' Passion and toured Japan as a member of the La Sierra University’s Chamber Choir.
He has sung with the Los Robles Master Chorale (LRMC), performing such works as “The Messiah” and “Beethoven’s 9th Symphony”; in “Carmina Burana” and Mozart's "Great Mass in C minor" with the Los Angeles Korean-American Musicians Association (LAKMA) and the Taiwanese Elite Chamber Chorus (TECC) at their “Harmony & Friendship” concert at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. He also performed with the La Traviata Chorus for Prima Vera’s Opera “The Fallen”.
He is currently a Bass section Leader for the Cathedral Choir and Worship Leader at the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood. As an active recording artist, he is a member of “Tonality”, a vocal ensemble highlighting social issues, a member of the acapella groups “The Filharmonic” and “Filosophy”, and is working on his own solo projects. He resides in Los Angeles with his family.
