Terpsichor partnered with Care Art Homecare and created Care Music Outreach, a celebration of music and hope for people in need. Care Music Outreach sings for the elderly, people with developmental disabilities, in shelters and underprivileged communities. The program is designed to bring joy to people who need music for therapy. Music transcends age, disabilities and wealth. It is for everyone. We have seen music bring back core memories from people who have dementia. Music affects the mood and calms the nervous system, which is vital for the struggling communities around us.
